As Senior Development Manager at Skyfields, David leads the delivery of large-scale industrial and logistics developments at Tonkin Connect (Airport South), Skyfields’ flagship industrial hub. He works closely with clients, consultants, builders and internal teams across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and leasing through to design, construction and handover. 

With 14 years with Perth Airport, David’s deep expertise in industrial warehousing, logistics infrastructure and long-term partnerships has played a key role in shaping Tonkin Connect as a high-performing precinct that underpins Western Australia’s freight and distribution network. 

David is known for his strong commercial acumen and hands-on approach to delivery, with a focus on aligning development outcomes to client operations, efficiency and long-term growth. He has worked extensively with major operators including Epiroc, Westrac and Pacific Energy, building enduring partnerships that extend well beyond individual projects.

He is especially excited to see construction commence on the new Pacific Energy facility — the single largest industrial project undertaken by Skyfields to date, as Pacific Energy consolidates some 30,000sqm of operations at one new headquarters with Skyfields.
