Undertaking works on the Airport Estate

Before any building activity is commenced on Perth Airport land, approval under the provisions of the Airports Act 1996 and Airports (Building Control) Regulations 2025 must be obtained from:

  • Perth Airport Pty Ltd as the Lessee

        and

  • Airport Building Controller (ABC) as the Commonwealth’s appointed regulatory authority

Such works include new buildings, terminals, hangars, shop fit-outs, civil works such as runways, taxiways, roads and drains, and demolition activities.
